    Article 02

    What cookies are

Small text files (and equivalent client-side storage like localStorage) saved on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember information across pages and visits.

    Article 03

    How we use them

For essential functionality, to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. With your consent, we also use Microsoft Clarity for analytics (heatmaps and session insights) to understand what works and improve the site. We don't display advertising, don't sell your data, and don't track you across unrelated websites.

    Article 04

    Legal basis

Essential cookies don't require consent under GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) (contract performance) or the ePrivacy Directive Art. 5(3) "strictly necessary" exemption: the service literally cannot work without them.

Functional preferences (filter state, view mode) are stored in localStorage on your device. They never leave the browser, and clearing site data wipes them. Legal basis: GDPR 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in remembering your UI choices) / LGPD 7(IX).

Analytics cookies (Microsoft Clarity) are non-essential and load only after you opt in via the cookie banner. Legal basis: your consent, GDPR 6(1)(a) / LGPD 7(I). Declining never affects access to the Service, and you can withdraw consent any time by clearing site data.

    Article 05

    Essential cookies (required)

Necessary for the Service to work. They power:

    • Authentication and login sessions.
    • Security features.
    • Saved preferences.
    • Session state across pages.

You can't opt out. Without these, the Service can't function.

    Article 06

    Functional cookies (optional)

Improve your experience by remembering choices:

    • Display preferences (theme, view mode).
    • Language.
    • Sort and filter preferences.

    Article 07

    Analytics & advertising

With your consent, the Service uses Microsoft Clarity for product analytics (heatmaps, aggregate click and scroll behaviour, and session replays) to see which features people use and where they get stuck. Clarity loads only after you accept the cookie banner; decline and no analytics cookies are set.

We do not display advertising and set no third-party advertising cookies.

    Article 08

    Third-party services

The Service makes requests to TMDB for movie data. TMDB may set their own cookies under their own privacy policy.

If you consent to analytics, Microsoft Clarity (provided by Microsoft) processes usage data as a data processor on our behalf, under Microsoft's privacy terms.

    Article 09

    Managing cookies

Most browsers let you control cookies. You can:

    • View and delete stored cookies.
    • Block third-party cookies.
    • Block specific sites.
    • Block all cookies.
    • Auto-delete on browser close.

Blocking essential cookies will break login and session features.

    Article 10
