The Service is provided by Murilo Souza, acting as an individual, contactable at contact.myperfectmovie@gmail.com. References to "we", "us", or "My Perfect Movie" mean the provider.

By accessing or using My Perfect Movie ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

A web platform to track films you've watched, build watchlists, and receive AI-powered movie recommendations. Movie data comes from The Movie Database (TMDB).

Registration. Provide accurate, current information.

Account security. You're responsible for your credentials and any activity under your account.

Minimum age. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You confirm this at signup. Accounts found to belong to anyone younger will be deleted.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for illegal or unauthorized purposes.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.
• Disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Upload malicious code or harmful content.
• Scrape or harvest user information.
• Use automated systems without written permission.

Your content. You keep ownership of reviews, ratings, and notes you submit. By posting, you grant us a license to display and distribute it within the Service.

Standards. No offensive, defamatory, or illegal material. We may remove content that violates these terms.

Public profiles. When public, your lists and reviews are visible to other signed-in users.

The Service (design, features, and editorial content, excluding user content) belongs to My Perfect Movie and is protected by copyright. Movie data comes from TMDB and is subject to their terms.

The AI shortlist is generated by a third-party large language model (currently DeepSeek, located in China). Building it sends only your film list and the filters you set (no name, email or account ID), so the payload carries nothing that identifies you. Generating recommendations is part of the Service, and by using the feature you agree to this processing.

AI output is a suggestion, not advice: it may be inaccurate, outdated, or simply not to your taste. It makes no legal or significant decision about you. You're free to ignore it, and you can stop using the feature at any time without losing the rest of the Service.

How we collect, use, share, retain and erase personal data (and the rights you have over it under LGPD and GDPR) is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.

Use of TMDB data is subject to TMDB's terms. We're not responsible for the accuracy or availability of third-party content.

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, including:

• Merchantability or fitness for purpose.
• Accuracy or completeness of movie information.
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation.
• Accuracy of AI-generated recommendations.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Perfect Movie isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from profile settings.

We may modify these terms. Significant updates will be announced on the Service. Continued use after changes means acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Disputes shall be settled in the courts of the city where the provider resides, except where the applicable consumer-protection law (Brazil's CDC for Brazilian consumers, or the consumer's home jurisdiction for EEA consumers under Regulation 593/2008 Art. 6) mandates otherwise.
